Whole Foods Nourish Me.

Whole foods nourish me.

My diet is smart and healthy.

I load up on vegetables and fruits. I aim for at least 5 servings a day. I put spinach or kale in my breakfast omelet. I microwave apple slices with cinnamon for a light bedtime snack.

I choose healthy fats. I use more olive oil. I treat myself to nuts, seeds, and salmon sushi rolls.

I limit added sugar and salt. I cut back gradually until my taste buds adapt to natural flavors.

I reorganize my kitchen. I throw out junk food or put it out of sight. I keep a bowl of fresh fruit on my counter. I use smaller dishes and serving ware to help control portion sizes.

I shop carefully. I stick to the outer aisles at the supermarket instead of browsing for cookies and chips. I visit farmers markets and ethnic shops where I can find new and exciting ingredients to try.

I prepare my own meals and snacks. I find simple recipes that are lighter and faster than ordering takeout.

I make my diet part of an overall healthy lifestyle. I exercise regularly, manage stress, and sleep well.

Today, I choose whole foods that help me to stay lean and fit. Eating healthy makes me feel healthy. My diet gives me the energy I need to be happy and productive.
